A brief sketch on the Life of His Eminence Hazrat Allamah Hafiz-o-Qaari Mawlana Mohammad Ibrahim Khustar Siddiqui Qadri Razvi Noorie (Rehmatullah Alaihi)

Preface: I was about 8 yrs old when I first met His Eminence Hazrat Allamah Hafiz-O-Qaari Al Hajj Mawlana Mohammad Ibrahim Khustar Siddiqui Qadri Razvi Noorie [ra] at the Jamma Musjid of Mauritius, I was very impressed by seeing such a high personality, very serious, smart, a very attractive personality, He was just appointed as Khateeb of the Jamma Musjid, I was at this time an Student of the Jamma Musjid Madrassa, it was in the Holy Month of Ramadhan of 1965, as my residence was about 10 km far away I was fasting so after the Madrassa  I stay in the Jamma Musjid the whole day till Maghrib, I was so Impressed by His Eminence which brought me to wait for His entrance in the left side of the Sahan just to admire Him. After He removed His shoes I turn it to the position which will enable Him to wear it back easily, He always smiled while coming back after the Swalat due to the position of His Shoes but one day after removing His shoes He goes straight and turned back to watch who is turning His shoes, I did not notice that His Eminence saw me turning His Shoes, after the Swalat He sent a person to call me to present in front of Him at His Residence, He asked me if it was me who every time turned His Shoes, my answer was yes, I was so afraid due to His serious appearance He invited me to perform Iftaar in His company, till that very day I became very close to Him, I have the privileged to become his student and one among His first Moorides, I can say that my Peer-o-Mursheed was a great scholar of this century.

His Birth, Family and Childhood.

His Eminence was born on the 6^th Shawwal 1348 Hijri (8th March 1930) at Bandil Junction, West Bengal, India, 8 years, 7 Months and 6 Days after the Wisaal of A’la Hazrat Imam-e-Ahle-Sunnat Mujaddid-e-Islam Mawlana Shah Ahmad Raza Khan [RA], His father Muhammad Khustar Siddiqui Qadri Razvi at the time of Birth of His Eminence was serving in the East India Railway Service and was a very Pious personality, the vision of His father was to make His Eminence a great Islamic Scholar of the Qadria Razvia Silsila, His Eminence was admitted at the Mahalla Wali Ganj Madrassa in Jamalpur, India at the age of three years for early education, at the age of 6 years His father passed away at Jamalpur,India. After the death of His Father, His Grand Mother took care of Him in order to fulfill the wish of His Father, at the age of ten he started Hifz which was completed three years later at the age of thirteen, His Childhood was not for playing like other children but was only for studies. His Eminence had one brother Mawlana Ayoub Razvi born in the year of 1936 and one sister Koolthoum Khustar Siddiqui born in the year 1933.

Higher Education and Graduation

At the Madrassa of Mahalla Wali Ganj in Jamalpur, India, His Eminence studied Urdu, Persian, English and Mathematics, and further Islamic Studies started in 1943 in Bareilly Shareef, Uttar Pardesh, India, under the care of some great Scholar, His Eminence left Bareilly Shareef after completion of High Studies in Arabic, Persian and Matriculated in English and He became famous as a poet and prose writer, His Eminence went to Pakistan for Graduation. In the year 1956 He obtained Graduation in Fazil-e-Darse Nizami in Lyallpur, Pakistan. He also obtained M.A in English, M.A. in Mathematics in Pakistan.

Swalatal Taraweeh

His Eminence accomplishes 58 Taraweeh from 1943 to 2000. His first Taraweeh was performed in 1943 at the age of 13 at the Musjid Mahalla Wal Ganj and the last one was at the age of 70 at the Sunni Razvi Academy in Mauritius, * According to Islamic Calendar His last Taraweeh was at the age of 71 years.

7 Taraweeh in India, 15 in Pakistan, 2 in Ceylon Colombo, 6 in United Kingdom, 3 in Holland and 25 in Mauritius.

Khateeb-o-Imam

His Eminence was fist appointed as Khateeb-O-Imam at the Raza Jamma Musjid in Bareilly Shareef at the age of 14, in the year 1944 and his last Musjid as Khateeb-o-Imam was the Jamma Musjid in Port-Louis Mauritius in the year of 1972 after 1972 he began his worldly tour as a Roving Ambassador.

Peer-O-Mursheed and Khilafat.

His Eminence Peer-O-Mursheed was Hazrat Muhaddith-e-Aazam Mawlana Mohammad Sardaar Ahmad of Pakistan, He Obtained five Khilafat, 1^st From Hazrat Allamah Mawlana Shah Mohammad Ibrahim Raza Khan Qadri Razvi, Jilani Miah grandson of A’la Hazrat, in the Year 1958, 2^nd Khilafat from Hazrat Allamah Mawlana Ejaaz Wali Khan Qadri Razvi in the year of 1964. 3^rd Khilafat from Mufti-e-Azam Hind, Hazrat Allamah Mawlana Shah Mohammad Mustapha Raza Khan Qadri Razvi Noori in 1965, 4^th Khilafat from Hazrat Allamah Sheikh Zia-Ud-Deen Qadri Razvi in 1973 and the 5^th Khilafat from Hazrat Allamah Mawlana Taqaddus Ali Khan in 1987. With these five Khilafat made him a powerful Peer-O-Mursheed, He has always requested his Moorides to keep contact with Him. He has proved to be a very hard worker and ordered his followers to be work for the progress of Islam.

Marriage and Children.

On the 23^rd February 1958 at the age of 28 He married in Pakistan, the Nikah was celebrated by His Peer-O-Mursheed Hazrat Allamah Muhadith-E-Azam Mawlana Sardaar Ahmad, His Eminence had 7 children born from this marriage, 4 sons and 3 daughters.

Hajj

His Eminence performed Hajj on three occasion in 1956, 1968 and 1973, the first Hajj in 1956 He was accompanied by His Peer-O-Mursheed.

Roving Ambassador.

Being a Hard Worker, practically unstirred He established the Sunni Razvi International Society around the world, In Mauritius, Ceylon, Canada, Holland, America, United Kingdom, Durban, Johannesburg, Pakistan, India and many other countries which he Visited, an Eid-Gah in Mauritius, Several Khankas in different countries, several countries were unaware about the works done by A’la Hazrat His Eminence brought the light of Ahle Sunnat Wa Jamaat to these Countries, Eid Meelad Un Nabi [saw] , Urs of Sayyedena Ghawsul Azam, Khwaja Moin-ud-Deen Chisty and other Eminent Personalities has been celebrated in different countries under His Patron ship. His Eminence visited 28 countries to keep Muslims aware against fitnas created by Deobandies, Wahabies, Qadainies, Shias, In the year 1968 a racial war occurs in Mauritius His Eminence negotiated with the Government to protect Muslims of the Country.

Haqua-e-Zikr, Urs Shareef, Igiarween Shareef.

In Mauritius His Eminence Organized weekly Haqua-e-Zikr, Urs every Mondays and Thursdays in order to keep the youths attach with Ibaadat, He also began to celebrate Yearly Urs Shareef, Monthly Igiarween Shareef, Eid Meelad-Un-Nabi [saw] on a National Basis Since 1965 till now these celebration are being celebrated with great importance.

A Powerful Peer-O-Mursheed.

His Eminence has around 20,000 Moorides in Mauritius, every corner of the country Muslim brothers recognize Him as a powerful Peer-O-Mursheed, according to an statistic of the Sunni Razvi International He has around 330,000 Moorides around the world.

His death

It was on Thursday the 5^TH Jamadil Aakhir 1423 Hijri his Eminence passed away in Mauritius after Zohr Prayer, The News of His death does not takes much time to reach the Muslim Community, thousands of Muslim immediately attend the Sunni Razvi Academy in Port-Louis to pay a last homage to Him, the Funeral took place on Friday 6^th Jamadil Aakhir after the Jhummah Prayer, more than 25,000 peoples attended the Funeral, The Prime Minister, The Vice Prime Minister, Members of The Parliament, Ministers, the Lord Mayor of Port-Louis, Ambassadors, Members of the World Islamic Mission, Members of the Sunni Razvi of South Africa and U.K. was among those attended the Funeral, The Khateeb of the Jamma Musjid, Imams, Aaleem-e-Deen, of Mauritius were present, The Swalatul Janaza was performed at the Sunni Razvi Eid-Gah, His Eminence was Buried in the Zikr Manzil of the Sunni Razvi Eid-Gah in Port-Louis, His Grave was similar to that of A’la Hazrat about 9 feet high, the fact of that dimension is to pay respect to the Holy Prophet’s [saw] presence in the Qabr while Munkar Nakir enters the Qabr for questioning His Eminence.

Some of his sayings

His Eminence always says:

1. My Universe contains only my pen and my ink pot, My place is my prayer mat and I am Mohammad Ibrahim.

2. Thinks about the Poor before taken a good Meal.

3. As long as you have soul in your body work for the cause of Deen to gain peace in grave.

4. Keep your tongue in Zikrullah.

5. Became rich not with worldly materials and Money but with Darood Shareef.

6. Keep love for the Holy Prophet [saw] and Awliya Allah till your last breath.

7. Think always about your birth as a Muslim, live like a Muslim and die like a Muslim.

8. Always think about your Spiritual Guide you’ll be happy, sorrows will never touch you.
